「Blending into Nature」

このコロナ禍の中、
無観客個展の可能性を考え、
辿り着いた「自然に溶け込む」個展。

〝自分の作品を自然の中に展示してみたい〟
という思いはいつからか抱いていましたが、

これを機に思い切って挑戦する事ができました。

動画は、その日のありのままの「１分間」を切り取ったものです。
風の音、風に揺れる木々、木々から差し込む光、

そしてそこにある絵。

〝 医療従事者と私達を描いている作品

「Gratitude Circle」だからなのか、

これを見ている１分間は、

みんなの無事を祈るような、世界の平穏を願うような、

そんな気持ちになったよ〟
動画を撮ってくれた仲間からの言葉が印象的でした。

「誰かを想う1分間」
「自分を癒す1分間」

この動画が、

みんなにとってそんなひと時になれば素敵だなと思っています。

"Blending into Nature"

In the midst of this corona disaster,
I considered the possibility of

a solo exhibition without spectators,

and I arrived at this "blending into nature" exhibition.

I have been thinking at some point that

“I want to exhibit my work in nature.”
This was an opportunity for me to take the plunge

and challenge myself.

The video is a "one minute" clip of the day as it was.
The sound of the wind,

the trees swaying in the wind,

the light shining through the trees,

and the painting there.

“I felt like I was praying for everyone's safety,

wishing for peace in the world for a minute while watching this,

probably because it's a piece “Gratitude Circle”

that is about medical professionals and us.”
I was impressed by the words

from the fellow who took the video.

"A minute to think of someone else. “
"A minute to heal yourself.”

It would be wonderful

if this video could be such a moment for everyone.
